Titan

Titan is the PvP-ruleset sister server to Atlas and builds upon the same foundation of a Classic/SI focused server. While being a PvP-ruleset is the most immediately apparent difference, there are actually many tweaks that we've made to the ruleset to better accommodate our vision for the server.

NOTE: For alpha testing, the Shrouded Isles have been temporarily disabled

General Changes

  • Atlas orbs have been removed as a currency and all costs converted to Bounty Points
  • Shar/Frostalf/Half Ogre have been added as playable races
  • Immunity timers are now adaptive duration rather than a static 60s
  • /advice chat now shows cross-realm
  • Players are unable to change zones or use realm teleporters within 30 seconds of PvP combat activity.

Dungeons and XP Items

Dungeons are now high risk, high reward subzones with limited full-loot PvP.

Leveling Dungeons

  • Dungeons are the only locations in the game where XP items can be found
  • XP items now drop in an 'ethereal' state.
  • Killing another player within a dungeon will allow you to loot all ethereal XP items in their possession
  • The ethereal trait can be removed from XP items by successfully zoning out of the dungeon with them in your possession, which will prevent them from dropping on any further deaths.
  • Dungeons will restrict entry to any characters deemed to high or low level for the zone.

Epic Dungeons

  • Epic Dungeons (Sidi/Galla/TG) will continue to be the only place to find end-game template items but will have their encounter difficulties geared around smaller group sizes.
  • Static items (i.e. non-ROG items) will now drop in an 'ethereal' state
  • Killing another player within a dungeon will allow you to loot all ethereal static/template items in their possession
  • The ethereal trait can be removed from static items by successfully zoning out of the dungeon with them in your possession, which will prevent them from dropping on any further deaths.

RvR Changes

  • The conquest system has been removed
  • The predator system has been reworked to accommodate the Titan ruleset.
  • The /release random command has been added, which will allow players to release to a bindstone randomly chosen from any realm.
  • The default /release command now returns you to your capital city.

Relics

  • Relics are no longer captured by transporting them to a friendly controlled keep
  • Relic keeps are now capturable by guilds, and capturing the relic keep will grant the relic's benefits to your guild
  • Picking up a relic will now begin a 5 minute timer. If you are successfully still in possession of the relic at the end of the 5 minute timer, the relic is returned to the pad and the keep is claimed for your guild.
  • Guilds may hold any number of relic keeps in addition to the one normally allowed keep.

Social Changes

  • Alliances have been removed
  • A size cap has been placed on guilds. A guild with more than twenty-four (24) unique accounts will be unable to invite new members until unique accounts have been removed.
  • The cap is subject to change as needed for balancing.

Realm Ability Changes

  • All style RAs have had their re-use time lowered to 5 minutes
  • Added the Mastery of Focus RA
  • Purge is now cheaper and has multiple levels

Class Changes

General
  • Increased the range of all cure disease/poison spells to 2000
  • Resist chants use the triple-form version instead of single (i.e. Body/Spirit/Energy)
  • Damage-over-time spells now tick twice as fast with half the duration. Effectively, they deal the same damage in half the time
  • Maximum number of concentration buffs increased to 50
  • Critical Shot (archery) can now be used on moving targets
Paladin
  • Endurance chant range increased to 2000
  • Taunt spell range increased to 1500 units and cooldown reduced to 20s
  • Ablative and celerity chants added
  • Self strength buff added
Friar
  • Group heal-over-time spells have had their healing and duration increased
  • Offensive group heal proc added to rejuvenation line
  • Offensive pbaoe heal proc added to enhancement line
  • Defensive heal proc added to enhancement line
  • Fatigue cost reductions are now group spells
  • Some staff styles have been modified to the following:

  • Offensive group heal proc added to Regrowth line
  • Offensive pbaoe heal proc added to Nurture line
  • Wardens now gain 1.8 spec points per level
  • Wardens may now train Shields
  • Wardens may train Mastery of Blocking realm ability
  • Wardens have access to Cure Poison at 7 Regrowth and Cure Disease at 9 Regrowth
Thane
  • Spells in the Stormcalling line will have faster casts and more damage (reference Mythic's 1.82 patch changes for more details)
  • Added pbaoe Energy debuff spell
Valewalker
  • Damage Add group buff added
  • Added castable disease at 40 Arboreal
  • Added pbaoe disease at 44 Arboreal
  • The disease amount of the offensive proc buffline has been increased by 10 per level, and proc rate increased by 5% per level
Wizard
  • Nearsight has been added to the Earth line
Hunter
  • Self-AF buff has been changed from baseline AF to spec AF
  • Frost Cut and Reinforcement (sword styles) will now require an evade opening, rather than block
  • Evade III added
Bonedancer
  • The cooldown for the instant lifetap in Suppression line has been increased to 6 seconds
  • Damage-over-time spells have had their damage increased to match Cabalist/Mentalist
  • The pet interaction menu has been re-enabled
Armsman
  • Now gain access to Snapshot at 25 Crossbow spec
Ranger
  • Self-AF buff has been changed from baseline AF to spec AF
  • Tornado style (Celtic Dual) changed to evade opener
  • Return Blade (Blades) changed to evade opener
  • Ice Storm (Celtic Dual) now stuns
Nightshade
  • Tornado style (Celtic Dual) changed to evade opener
  • Return Blade (Blades) changed to evade opener
  • Ice Storm (Celtic Dual) now stuns
Hero
  • The cooldown of Stag lowered to 15mins
Shadowblade
  • Polar Light (Left Axe) changed to evade opener
  • Cleave (Axe) changed to evade opener
  • Decaying Rage (Left Axe) is now a side positional with a stun component
  • Aurora Borealis (Left Axe) is now a followup to Decaying Rage
Berserker
  • Decaying Rage (Left Axe) is now a side positional with a stun component
Shaman
  • Baseline and spec DoT will now stack
Necromancer
  • Pet interaction menu re-enabled
  • Necromancer pets will now obey player CC rules/immunity instead of mob CC rules
Reaver
  • The endurance cost for Python has been reduced by 50%
  • The proc from the Python style is no longer aoe
Theurgist
  • The range of elemental pet summons has been reduced from 2000 to 1875
  • Theurgist is now allowed 16 active pets, of any type, at a time
  • The size of many elemental pets has been reduced to alleviate targeting issues
Skald
  • Access to Determination 3
  • A mesmerization dampening chant has been added
  • A 'remove mesmerization' shout has been added
